How an outsourced outbound program became an internal Account Based Marketing operation
The engagement began as an opportunity-generation program. It evolved to build autonomy, train the team and leave a working commercial motion inside the company.
Documented outcomes
01
The situation
The company sold technology for trade marketing audits and field execution. Its target market included major brands, but access still relied on organic and inconsistent initiatives.
The goal was to build a repeatable method for approaching strategic accounts with enough context to reach decision-makers.
02
The approach
Protagnst applied an Account Based Marketing approach. Talk tracks focused on retail execution standards, fraud and field audits. Video outreach helped demonstrate the problem before the meeting.
The playbook combined ICP, narratives, cadences and progression criteria. After the outsourced team created practical learning, the method was transferred through training and coaching.
03
The outcome
The strategy opened doors at Samsung, Bauducco, O Boticário, GPA, Pirelli and Smart Fit. These names represent commercial access, not closed contracts.
The client team took over the program. Internalization demonstrated that process, materials and management were clear enough to continue in-house.
Figures are presented with the context and limitations documented in the project material.
04
What this case demonstrates
Effective outsourcing does not have to create dependency. When the method is documented and knowledge is transferred, the client can keep external execution or bring the capability in-house with greater maturity.
